Situated in the pristine landscape of the Danube Delta, this guesthouse refurbishment was envisioned as a tranquil retreat intimately connected to the water. Drawing inspiration from the soothing rhythm of its surroundings, the project reinterprets the classic “beach house” concept, carefully adapting it to the unique vernacular and environmental context of the Delta.

The architectural intervention was approached with profound respect for the existing building. Minor spatial reconfigurations and subtle extensions were carefully integrated to enhance functionality and guest comfort without overpowering the original structure. Every structural decision prioritizes a harmonious dialogue between the old framework and the new, contemporary additions.
